Join Us In June

Leveraging off the buzz of our recent (and fabulous) convention, the RMT reckons that this would be a great time for Region 34 choruses to hold an open rehearsal or visitors' night in June (or July). There's been such a lot of terrific social media posts from choruses, quartets and attendees after the convention weekend and it would be great to make the most of that by having a "Join Us In June" campaign!

All your chorus needs to do is have an open rehearsal or visitors' night in June (or July). Post about it on your social media pages, create events and tag Sweet Adelines Australia in the post. We can then share the link on our social media so that people and like, comment and share, which will increase your reach - this means that your post/event will be seen by many more people, which will hopefully result in more visitors and... more potential members! Use your local newspapers too, if you can. 

It doesn't have to be a full-on membership drive - just a 'join us for the night and see what we're all about'. 

Wednesday 21 June is Make Music Day so for those choruses who rehearse on a Wednesday, you might like to hold your event on this date. For information about Make Music Day go to the Make Music Australia website.
