Glenda has been part of Sweet Adelines since her teen years. For over 35 years, she has contributed tirelessly and selflessly to the growth and visibility of our organisation. Her name is known across our region, and her passion has inspired countless singers.

Her influence has been both profound and far-reaching, and her achievements are outstanding. Glenda’s exceptional talent and dedication span every aspect of barbershop singer, director, coach, and arranger.

She is a Master Director of the Brindabella Chorus and led them to a gold medal in the 2023 Harmony Classic Competition. She has been the bass of two regional champion quartets, Debacle and Skylark, with Skylark achieving a top 15 international placing in 2024. She is a brilliant arranger, and her arrangements are sung on the international, as well as regional, stage.

In our region, Glenda has served as a member of our Regional Education Faculty for over 25 years and is a widely sought-after coach. She now serves as a member of the Sweet Adelines International Faculty Program and is sharing her skills with barbershoppers around the globe. Her contribution to the global expansion of Sweet Adelines International was recognised with the prestigious Ann Gooch Award in 2020.
