Regional Positions
There are a number of Regional positions that are appointed annually
by the Regional Management Team. Read more about them below!

The Role:
- To keep accurate records of position holders and contact
details for Prospective Choruses in the Region.
- To communicate with Prospective Choruses on matters of
interest and concern to them and provide practical assistance in
their Steps Towards Chartering.
- To ensure that Prospective Choruses are kept well informed of
upcoming educational opportunities in the Region and are
encouraged to participate at every opportunity.
- To assist with the planning and running of classes/gatherings
for Prospective Choruses at educational events and Conventions.
- To keep accurate records of names, addresses, dates etc. when
making contact with Prospective Choruses in order to claim
reimbursement for postage, telephone, etc.
- To compile a summary of activity amongst the Prospective
Choruses and forward to the Marketing & Membership Coordinator by
31st March of each year.
- To offer suggestions to the Marketing & Membership Coordinator
on any improvements that can be made in this role in order to
better assist our Prospective Choruses.

The CAL Coordinator compiles an updated summary sheet of the
Region's Chapter at Large members and forwards to the Chapter
Coordinator and Membership & Marketing Coordinator by 31st March
each year.
She also offers suggestions to the Chapter Coordinator on any
improvements that can be made in this role in order to better assist
our Chapter at Large members. |

The Role:
- To write welcome letters to all new members of the Region.
- To keep new members informed of specific classes developed for
them at Regional educational workshops or Conventions.
- To assist in the planning and running of these classes if
requested.
- To write to exiting members asking for their assistance in
completing a Retention Form.
- To keep accurate records of names, addresses, dates etc. when
making contact with members in order to claim reimbursement for
postage, telephone etc.
- To compile a summary of new members & exiting members and forward
to the Marketing & Membership Coordinator by 31st March each year.
- To offer suggestions to the Marketing & Membership Coordinator on
any improvements that can be made in this role.

The Role:
- To keep accurate records of all Regional Merchandise held in
stock in the Region.
- To place orders for merchandise when stocks need replenishing.
- To collate pre-orders for merchandise prior to educational
events.
- To assist with the running of Regional Merchandise outlets at
educational events.
- To keep accurate records of names, addresses, dates etc. when
making contact with members and merchandisers in order to claim
reimbursement for postage, telephone, etc.
- To compile an updated summary of stock held and forward to the
Marketing & Membership Coordinator by 31st March each year.
- To offer suggestions to the Marketing & Membership Coordinator
on any improvements that can be made in this role and in the stock
being handled.

The
Regional Website Developer is responsible for maintaining, updating
and constantly improving the regional website to make it as user
friendly and informative as possible for our members. She works
closely with the RMT to gather the latest information for
publishing, and is an expert in Frontpage, with a good eye for
website design.

The CRC is the general chair of the convention weekend, including
competition. The CRC appoints committee members and chairs and
ensures that all regional policies and procedures are followed. She
competes international and regional reports, as designated.
The CRC is required to have
- Strong organisation, administrative and leadership skills.
- Thorough understanding regional and international policies and
procedures, especially in the area of regional
convention/competition.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with people
at all levels.
- Ability to make decisions, as well as delegate responsibility
and authority.
