Events

Sweet Adelines International organises a number of events for members to participate in each year, including opportunities for education and competition. These events occur at international and regional levels.

Regional events

Director's school (January) - for musical directors and assistant directors

Regional Education Faculty Training (January) - to assist in the development of the region's musical leaders

Regional convention (May) - includes education and chorus and quartet competitions

State workshops (various) - general member workshops, quartet workshops, musical leader's workshops just to name a few

International events

International convention - the best from every region competing for crowns and medals!

Harmony Classic  - top five small and mid-size choruses in the world

Rising star competition - 20 quartets made up of young women aged 12 to 25 years old

International Education Symposium (IES) - Education at it's best. Sadly, IES in July 2008 is the last one. More information soon about triennial super schools!
