International Competition Awards

Outlines what the winners receive from Sweet Adelines International.

Quartet Awards

Sweet Adelines International Awards places as follows for the annual Quartet Competition:

  • 1st Place Quartet, or champion quartet (Perpetual trophy and medal on blue ribbon)
  • 2nd Place Quartet (medal on red ribbon)
  • 3rd Place Quartet (medal on white ribbon)
  • 4th Place Quartet (medal on yellow ribbon)
  • 5th Place Quartet (medal on green ribbon)

In addition to the Region's perpetual trophy, each champion quartet member will receive the official quartet pin provided by Sweet Adelines International, purchased from International Headquarters from regional funds.

Chorus Awards

The champion chorus receives the Region's perpetual trophy. In addition, each competing member of the champion chorus and the director will receive the offical medal purchased by the Region from International Headquarters. Medals will be purchased from International Headquarters from Regional funds.

The following Awards are presented by Sweet Adelines International at the Region's Annual Competition:

  • 1st Place Chorus or champion chorus (Perpetual trophy and blue medal and ribbon)
  • 2nd Place Chorus (red medal and ribbon)
  • 3rd Place Chorus (white medal and ribbon)
  • 4th Place Chorus (yellow medal and ribbon)
  • 5th Place Chorus (green medal and ribbon)

Small Chorus Award (Division A)

A Small Chorus Award will be presented by Sweet Adelines International (refer Sweet Adelines International Policy Book).

These Awards are presented by Sweet Adelines International to choruses in the 15 - 30 singer chorus category or Division A category:

  • 1st Place Division A (medal and blue ribbon)
  • 2nd Place Division A (medal and red ribbon)
  • 3rd Place Division A (medal and white ribbon)

First to Third Place Division AA (midsize) Awards

Sweet Adelines International presents Awards for midsize choruses 31 - 60 singer category or Division AA category as follows:

  • First Place (medal and blue ribbon)
  • 2nd Place (medal and red ribbon)
  • 3rd Place (medal and white ribbon).

Certificates of Recognition for each chorus

Sweet Adelines International produces Certificates of Recognition for every chorus that competes in regional competition signifying their participation in that competition.

Most Improved Chorus Award

The Most Improved Chorus Award will be presented by Sweet Adelines International (refer Sweet Adelines International Policy Book)

Each member of the Most Improved Chorus receives a ribbon from Sweet Adelines International.
